Ways To Make Your Own Tree stands, Hunting Blinds, and Feeders
Duck Blind
The best homemade blind I have come to find work best for me whether your in a field or next to water is a hog panel. If your in a field take the hog panel and a ring out of it. Take some fast grass or nature weeds or corn stalks and zip tie them to the hog panel. If you are hunting next to water just steak your hog panel up in a straight line. Take your natural grass or fast grass and zip tie it to the hog panel and sit behind it facing the water and your decoy spread. Good luck and safe hunting.
Ground Blind
Take and old small shack building or make your own and build it how you want it. paint it up or put burlap all over it and find you a good area in your wood or on the edge of a field. There are lots of different ways to make a ground blind. Look around on Google images and try a few out. You might find one you really like. Good luck and safe hunting.
Tree Stand
The best thing to do is find some old scrap treated lumber for your material. Then go out and scout to find you the perfect location where there is a lot of deer movement. Once you have found the perfect location find the perfect tree in that location. One not to big or to small. I personally like the white oaks that are split into two trunks. Cut you some 2' sections off your scrap 2'x4' s. Those will be your steps. Nail those onto the tree, as many as you need. All you need is to be approximately 10 to 15' off the ground. Take some of your scrap wood and build a platform as big as the tree will let you. Make sure you use enough wood and screws to support your body weight. Good luck.
Feeder
Find you some 4" to 6" diameter PVC pipe approximately 5' to 6' long. Get a Y piece to connect to the bottom of you other PVC pipe. Make sure its the same diameter. Put a cap on the bottom and top so your feed doesn't leak out. Find a small tree or put a post in the ground and strap the PVC pipe to the post or tree. Fill it with feed and you have your feeder. Good luck.
